This trend to ban, or at least create highly restricted access  to Colloidal Silver is already noticeable in Great Britain and Australia, among other places, so don't be surprised when it happens here.

Salmonella

Salmonella is a rod-shaped, motile bacterium, found frequently in animals ... especially  poultry and swine. Human infection often results from contact with contaminated water, soil, insects, factory surfaces, kitchen surfaces, animal feces, raw meats, raw poultry, and raw seafood. Infections related to vegetable sources mostly relate to surface contamination as opposed to internal bacterial sources.

Salmonellosis  ..."Every year, approximately 40,000 cases of salmonellosis are reported in the United States. Because many milder cases are not diagnosed or reported, the actual number of infections may be thirty or more times greater. Salmonellosis is more common in the summer than winter." CDC website

The current "Tomato Warning" involves a salmonella contamination, possibly internal to the tomato. (I have my doubts) This may have been caused by root absorption from contaminated soil. Roughly 943 people have been sickened, since April 2008, though no deaths are being reported. Skin or surface contamination is more probable, which can be avoided by washing the tomatoes with dish soap and cool water as part of the preparation process. Tomatoes can also be externally sterilized using colloidal silver, or hydrogen peroxide, or a mild Chlorox (chlorine bleach) solution.

The CDC/FDA /etc. has (July 02, 2008) added "additional probable sources" of contamination and has expanded the reporting area to include Canada. Gosh, do you think they are really looking for the source of the problem, or are they just trying to make it look scary enough to force a new and expensive tracking system on producers and consumers.

If it is about a tracking system, it's about money, not food safety. The final result will be that no small farmer will have the ability to market his/her produce without selling it through a co-op or other major marketing wholesaler. Tracking equates to tax collection.

Our notions: 1. Tomatoes are a staple, eaten by almost every American (303 million +) one or more meals per day.  2. Raw tomatoes are identified as the "likely source" of the current salmonella outbreak. (unproven, as of 6-17-2008)  3. Risks are minimal (heck, 450 people DIE every year from acetaminophen poisoning ...that's 20 per week ... compared to 25 per week made ill eating tomatoes, which might not even be the source). This is a "tempest in a teapot", probably raised to divert attention from something more serious, such as the FDA loosing a lawsuit filed to force the FDA to address the toxicity of mercury amalgam dental fillings.

Tomatoes have been linked to 13 outbreaks of salmonella since 1990, according to "The Center For Science In The Public Interest" ... A Washington Advocacy Group (sounds like a lobbiest front to me ... but I'm not certain of that).

Symptoms ... which usually manifest within 6 to 48 hours and last for 1 to 2 days include: nausea, vomiting, abdominal cramps, diarrhea, fever, and headache.  I'm sure you recognize the symptoms ... they match the 24 hour flu, which is not really flu at all ...It's food poisoning, usually salmonella. If your Dr. ever gave you tetracycline for the 24 hour flu, and it helped, you've probably had salmonella. (The flu is a respiratory virus, antibiotics have no effect.)

Salmonella can be fatal, though the risk is greatest to the very young or the elderly. Death usually results from the severe dehydration caused by salmonella.

The Chronic Consequences of Salmonella ... arthritic symptoms, which may follow 3-4 weeks after onset of acute symptoms.

Prevention ... effective sanitation of food preparation surfaces, complete cooking of animal products (meat, fish, poultry), frequent hand washing during food preparation, segregation of animal (particularly poultry) preparation utensils from vegetable and fruit preparation utensils. Thorough washing of fruit and vegetable surfaces as the initial part of the food preparation process. These precautions will minimize the risk, not eliminate it.

Treatment ... There is no reliable conventional medical treatment for salmonella. That is, no consistently functional antibiotic. Treatment is usually focused upon hydration and controlling the diarrhea. "It is estimated that approximately 400 persons die each year with acute salmonellosis." CDC website 

Treatment ... Patent medicine ...  Abdominal pain and Diarrhea. The method comprises the step of administering approximately 5 to 25 ml of silver composition, one to five times a day orally until there was a response. One patient was treated with about 10 ml (about two teaspoons) of a composition of the present invention (10 ppm silver water, very similar to a product you can produce at home) three times in one day. (It kinda makes me wonder if physicians are afraid to try remedies that don't require a prescription ... I mean, when there is an available patent medicine that appears to remedy a problem,  some physicians  let their patients die anyway. Perhaps I am being too harsh, maybe they're just uninformed.)

Summer Is Over!

 September has come and gone.

The weather is unpredictable, it feels like February one day and July the next. The Government still can't seem to figure out that we own thermometers. The national weather service reports temperatures that frequently fail to reflect reality, though NOAA did mention that March 08 had the highest ever recorded average temperature "on land".

Monetary markets are unstable and clearly manipulated.

The US Government has discontinued the publication of many financial indicators, and the price of silver hovers in the $14.00 range even though no major refiner has any to ship. (Conventional economic theory says that when there is a shortage of supply, and continuing demand, the price rises sharply, which is not happening.)

The news is reporting that more and more people are refusing vaccinations. The slant they put on the story makes anyone who refuses a vaccination appear stupid or even unpatriotic.

Nobody seems willing to mention that the unvaccinated group is no less healthy than the vaccinated group, or that the unvaccinated group has a bit more disposable income.

Lobbyists are pushing for new regulations to make vaccinations of various types compulsory.

Lobbyists are also pushing for laws restricting the use of "awards programs" such as those run by Blue Cross in some states to promote the use of "Generic drugs".

Apparently, it's O.K. to buy generic foods because you don't have enough money for drugs and food, but not O.K. for insurance companies to "Offer Cash Rewards" to physicians for steering their patients to $4.00 generics instead of $150.00 "brand name drugs" , even if the generics are appropriate. (These guys must absolutely HATE natural health nuts who don't pay any big corporation  for the privilege of staying healthy!)

You can minimize your family's risk of contracting numerous ailments, including colds, flu, and cancer by adding sufficient amounts of vitamin C and D to your diet.

The Vitamin D connection to flu prevention (anecdotal physician evidence) has been known for several years.

 Additionally, in 2007 Creighton University (Nebraska) published a study indicating that Vitamin D supplementation would not only help alleviate colds and flu, but also helps prevent Cancer.

Since there is no large profit to be made by selling Vitamin D, the "established medical community" had to respond.

It was hotter last year (for whatever reason), and wetter this past August than any year in recent memory.

Bird Flu

Extremely virulent flu, but flu just the same!

Reports on the internet indicate that Bird Flu is mutating and that it is killing people in the mid east and India. The numbers remain relatively small. The rhetoric which might incite panic in the general populace, when compared to the statistical reality, appears to arise from some sort of Orwellian notion of Governmental control, as opposed to a valid risk assessment. (The short version of the foregoing, is, that I believe the "Hype" is just that.)

Everything we know about the flu (and statistics) tells us that average people are at a very low level of risk and that level of risk can be minimized by taking 2000 iu of vitamin D3 daily during flu season.

If you happen to be one of the "Cosmically Unlucky Souls" who contracts Bird Flu, there are very few real options. Most conventional anti virals are ineffective against Bird Flu, and aside from Colloidal Silver (C S is not an FDA approved solution to the problem) few, if any, other products can provide actual relief.

The Bird Flu virus is aggressive, but it is the flu. The flu virus...in all known genetic variations, including Bird Flu (H5N1) can easily be killed by colloidal silver at relative low concentrations, in test tubes. Since the flu is a respiratory disease (affliction of the lung), and direct contact with colloidal silver is needed to kill the virus, I would use a Nebulizer or misting device, and inhale colloidal silver to deal with the problem.

I would also take several grams of activated charcoal, daily, while I was so afflicted, to absorb the aeromatic hydrocarbon toxins that flu viruses release into the body. Removing toxins from the body is a proven method for alleviating symptoms and improving survivability from a viral or bacterial infection. (activated charcoal ... a household staple for dealing with minor food poisoning, the flu, etc., has become difficult to obtain and expensive in Britain, following the implementation of CODEX ... )

For the most part, our customers claim that nano-particle colloidal silver relieves symptoms of the "flu" within a day, shortens the time a person is afflicted with a cold to two days or so... bear in mind this is anecdotal evidence ... what our customers tell us, not necessarily the truth, and certainly not anything the FDA or FTC would endorse...

Conventional colloidal silver (silver water) , of course, has particles so large that most of its' action   remains within the "gastro intestinal tract", if ingested (swallowed).  Since the "flu" is a respiratory ailment, the only way to get any real results from "conventional" colloidal silver when fighting the "flu" would be to inhale nebulized CS, in the expectation that the silver particles carried into the lungs would kill the offending viruses residing there. West Nile Virus

"Global Warming" ... or the "Current Heat Wave" to say nothing of the standing water across Iowa and the bulk of the midwest ...

(Your Preference) is bringing increased mosquito populations to most of the country throughout the spring, summer and fall, together with an increase in the risk of exposure to West Nile Virus.

In 2007, as of December 11, the CDC is reporting 3404 cases of West Nile with 98 deaths, in the US. (CDC Link) There is undoubtedly some degree of "under reporting" , but I have no justifiable means for estimating what that amount might be. "the number of cases reported (as with all diseases) may be limited by whether persons affected seek care, whether laboratory diagnosis is ordered and the extent to which cases are reported to health authorities by the diagnosing physician." The Canadian Public Health Agency, Nov 24, 2007 is reporting 2353 human West Nile cases for the year. Canada has a socialized health care program, which undoubtedly reduces the level of under reporting. (Canada Public Health Link)

Since the normal period between exposure and "medical confirmation" of a case of West Nile is about 5 weeks, we are expecting numerous "confirmed" cases during the months of September and November.

"West Nile" virus, though not the "flavor of the month" (current darling of the media) really is spreading rapidly throughout the world ... unlike many highly touted threats, West Nile can strike anybody, almost anywhere that mosquitoes exist.

As a general rule, West Nile is not "life threatening" to humans ...exactly ... that is, it doesn't usually kill people ... it just makes you sick, for months and months and months on end. Further, there is no "conventional medicinal" CURE!  [Link]

So, you ask, "Why are the USP series generators the models you are putting on SALE?"

Nano-particle colloidal silver (such as the ultra small particle cs produced by our USP series generators), produced with a safe low voltage generator, has (according to users) a reputation for relieving the symptoms of flu (every strain our customers have encountered), colds, mycoplasmal illness, and numerous other viral and bacterial afflictions.
